The options are many and can satisfy even the most refined tastes or standards. The prices, while not cheap, are affordable, and in the long run cost effectiveness happens because these items last long, can be maintained or remodeled without much effort, and age gracefully when well taken care off.

The practice is to usually have a small reception area opening to a long bar with stools and one complete side of banquette tables or booths. There are fabulous diners that feature them as part of the spirit of a place famous for its atmosphere and food. These can also be found in common places as well, and are proof of their popularity as well as practicality, something that might be considered classic for the restaurant culture of our nation.

The most probable beginnings for them could have been in the most expensive and exclusive restaurants or dining clubs. But there can more specific sources that might be added. Anyway you look at it, booths give off a kind of romantic image to American dining, in addition to their more practical features.
